Herb Paris (Paris quadrifolia) grows from 10 to 40 cm and is common in lower elevations. It likes mountain slopes that are covered with deciduous or mixed forests. It has usually just 4 leaves and a solitary flower that appears in May. All parts of this plant are very poisonous. The flower of herb paris does not produce any nectar.
