Here we can see the 3 main groups of trees that we can find in Sierra de Ayllón. Center-left in the photo, the beechwood is one of the most southern in Europe, it's called Hayedo de Montejo. Below and to the right, the oakwood, wich grows in the low and mid lands. Up, the pinewood on the slopes of Morra del Recuenco (1908 m). Taken from the east while ascending Cerrón (2199 m). 8 October 2005.
