High in the Sandias
High in the Sandias
Me on the summit of Point 8300 on Rincon Ridge of the Sandias. The main mass of the Sandias can be seen in the background. I hiked this late in December 2007. It was cold with about a foot and a half of snow on the ridge. The hike and the summit were extremely rewarding for such a close mountain to Albuquerque.
