Re: WowThis shot was made on old-fashioned 35mm Kodachrome positive slide film. Photography was much more complicated back then. With only a few casettes of film to cover a six-month trip, I had to make every shot count.
I now enjoy the ease of digital photography where you just point and snap, take the chip to the drug store, put the chip into a machine, enhance the image, crop it and caption it and have almost instantaneous satisfaction of a perfect picture in fifteen minutes. Nothing out of focus or overexposed. So easy! Nowadays anyone with a cellphone is a ready photographer.
