Interesting nice looking mountain in South-Tirol. Excellent for hikers and surely good in the winter too. You don't have a better image for the presentation photo? All that fences doesn't make it beautiful. The rest of the images are better.
Getting there section: I describe really how to get to the village at the foot of the mountain (big nearest city and airport, roads, trains, and public transport...)and how to get into the hut. From the hut to the summit it is, normally, a Route (with its route-page).
If I can do an sketch of routes/range/area,..I add it to the page...or a map is useful too. But that's my way of seeing SummitPost as a all-in site (when I search a mountain I find almost everything I need to climb that mountain).
ich habe die Seite an die Sarntaler Alpen angehängt - kannst Du übrigens auch selbst machen. Ich finde den Überblick ein bischen mager, schliesslich ist's der höchste Berg in seiner Gruppe.
Hi Gangolf, du hast recht. Werde noch ein wenig Informationen zum Hirzer einholen. Hast du zufällig ein besseres Übersichtsfoto vorrätig, da meine alle bei etwas bescheidenerem Wetter geschossen wurden?
