Il est pas mal ce Höllenfels ! Dommage que son accès soit aussi dur, car il n'y a pas de chemin balisé qui nous mène à sa base ! Les grimpettes aux différents sommets sont très techniques et pas dénuées d'intérêt, c'est certain. Il y a de jolies choses à voir sur ce rocher, que je ne connais pas encore parfaitement. De plus, je n'y ai encore jamais fait de photos, alors il serait peut-être grand temps à ce que je me tâte d'y aller, une fois pour toutes. Le Friedrichsfels tout proche est encore plus impressionnant à voir, car il est plus haut (maxi : 67 mètres ! ). Le Nesselberg de l'autre côté de la route L495, est lui aussi intéressant (belle vue sur Lug et ses rochers ... ), bien préservé et peu fréquenté (bon silence en haut de ce site). Le Hornstein, quant à lui, a été récemment dégagé à cause des arbres qui sont tombés à terre (tempête récente ! ). Bien ça ! Les deux tours et le promontoire sommital sont petits, mais mignons à voir : l'endroit est confortable et très accueillant. Depuis le sommet, la vue est remarquable sur Lug et ses rochers.

I was on the Höllenfels, in this very hot and sunny tuesday, the 8th september 2009 and it was fantastic : no ticks, no rain, no storm, just a blue sky and a brillant sun ! Absolutely perfect ! The summital part of the Höllenfels was penetrated by myself, with the help of trees and sandstone forestian statue ! From thereover, I discovered a fabulous panorama ; from left to right : Friedrichsfels, village of Lug, Hornstein, Nesselberg, the four roads cross, Haselstein, Hülsenberg, Hauenstein, Neding, Falkenburg, Hemersberg, Rauhberg and Bavariafels ! Equally, was the site very wild and adventurous ! It's was a very laughy site, I can tell you ! I hope that I will meet you one time, during one of my palatian hikes ... With a very big pleasure, of course ! Continue so, please, with bringing me like so excellent articles, about the palatian rocks ... I'm always waiting for you, for news and topics !!!
Another wonderful rocky destination, in the nearby area : the Kisselbachwand ! If you still don't know this site, please visit him and bring me an article about him ! This site is extremely wild, isolated and totally unknown by the people ! I was there in july 2010, and I was totally alone on the fabulous summit, with a surprising panorama ... Please, go there, it costs the travel ! It will not be boring there, at the Kisselbachwand, I can promise it to you ! Good luck, good search and come with new pictures about this nice cache !
