Although this was a long hike, it was very rewarding. I had failed in an attempt of this mountain last year in July. I tried it from the French Creek TH and only made it up to Fall Creek Pass before i knew the clouds were never going to burn off. It rained all day. Needless to say having beautiful weather on the 27th was quite the relief. This route is a great way to tour the area. It took me 9 hours to do the route- 15 miles and 5,700-ft.
