Did a fairly quick ascent of Honeymoon Hump with my brother on another heatwave day, and despite the blistering temps and incessant biting insects, it was a grand adventure.
Loose scary choss and rock, kitty litter galore... And some of the best views I have personally witnessed anywhere. This'd be good as a way point for Kitling or Mesachie, but I'd recommend this as a climb on its own. It's worth the sketchiness, and makes a good intro to loose N Cascades scrambles

Kitling South Ridge
WOW! Underdog mountain of the year! The views along this route are absolutely stunning. Its so cool to have a summit like this to yourself. There are numerous snowfields below the pass. I did not use ice axe or crampons for this since snow was fine for stepping in and using trekking poles. The ridge really is not all that bad, it just takes a while Honeymoon Hump kinda just feels like a small hump along the ridge it really is not a problem to climb over. The scrambling parts were solid. You can make it as easy or as hard as you want. I went for class 3 with some added class 4 whenever I felt adventurous. The rock is very solid (with some added choss and talus of course). Just check every rock and boulder because there are many big boulders that appear to be attached to the mountain but are not. Across the valley I saw a MASSIVE rock slide off the NE Face of Arches Peak. The views from the summit are staggering. Don't know why mountains like this aren't the popular ones.

After Graybeard
We went over here after our climb of Graybeard. We were hoping to get Kitling in the same day, but a snowstorm turned us around on Honeymoon Hump.

Easy ridge line scramble
Scrambled on the way to Kitling. A fun and worthy objective in its own right.

Ridgeline scramble from Easy Pass
Enjoyable class 3 scramble on the ridge northwest of Easy pass. Rock is very loose though. Moderate day round trip. Excellant views of north sides of Black, Goode, Logan, over to Forbidden, Eldorado, Mesahchie, Baker, Shuksan, and Jack.
