Hornet Over Mount Rainier
I took this from the cockpit of an F/A-18 on the transit from Lemoore, CA to Whidbey Island, WA in Sept, 2006. We don't fly that route very often and it's a shame... so many beautiful things to overfly, such as Crater Lake, Mount Hood, and Mount Rainier. The pilot of Hornet in the photo is Paul "Dino" Brantuas, who now flies with the US Navy Blue Angels.
