| AlphaRomero | 5 in one weekend, age 14 Date Climbed: Jun 15, 1978 | |
| In June '78 I knocked-off 5 peaks with my Scout Troop and a great leader that hooked me on wilderness adventures (Dix, East Dix, South Dix, Hough and McComb) | ||

| tigerlilly | Dix to Hough Date Climbed: Feb 19, 2012 | |
| Nicely broken trail, used snow shoes the whole way. We saw a guy who slipped off Dix summit, 10 feet, caught by a little spruce tree. :-/ Lucky! Came down the Lillian Brook trail. Sore knees afterwards!!! The herd path was easy to find, slightly packed down. No problems. Beautiful winter day for hiking!!! | ||

| Florida Frank | Fourth Summit of the Day ![]() Date Climbed: Jul 5, 2011 | |
| At this point RD Jim and I had yet to see another hiker the entire day. Had the whole range to ourselves until we got up to the Beckhorn. Herd paths in great shape for unofficial trails. 32/46. Fine day! | ||

| PaulRomano | Dix Range Traverse ![]() Date Climbed: Jun 27, 2011 | |
| Did this as part of a one-day Dix Range Traverse. Came up the Macomb Slide and then through the herd paths to South Dix, East Dix, then back to Hough. Beautiful sunny day with a few clouds here and there. The views are great from Hough, but somewhat overshadowed by its neighbor Dix. | ||

| This was a tough day in the Dix Range. We had to break trai over from Dix to Hough and onto Carson. It was tough. In total we had over 6 hrs of HARD bushwhacking. The frosty summits were amazing, making it worth all the efforts.I also climbed these mountains back on 4th of July weekend. It was rainy and cold then, just cold now....Jim wallace | ||

| Enapai | Lillian Brook Approach ![]() Date Climbed: Mar 9, 2009 | |
| Warm, snowy day. Did Hough along with East and South Dix. Lots of snow on the approach. Had the best views of the day on Hough, which basically included one of the Dix slides breaking out from the clouds and the East/South Dix Ridgeline briefly coming into view. Needless to say, we were in the clouds all day. | ||

| Tahawus | Hough Peak ![]() Date Climbed: Sep 16, 2006 | |
| Climbed with Macomb, South Dix and East Dix via the Dix Trail from the Elk Lake Lodge. Traversed over from South Dix across the Hogback to Hough's windy summit. Instead of backtracking, we descended via the herd path along through Lillian Brook. | ||

| starship_jen | From Dix ![]() Date Climbed: Mar 15, 2008 | |
| Had a hard time finding the herd path from Dix, but we used the GPS and eventually bushwhacked our way to the summit. Snowy and steep up top with loose snow that we used crampons for. #33/46. : ) | ||

| mike_lindacher | Huff Stuff ![]() Date Climbed: Sep 1, 2007 | |
| Descended the Beckhorn ridge to Hough. Descent trail, would rather go down it than up. The Lillian Brook escape route has been cleared of blowdown, it's open and recognizable behind the Hough col. You can also go up this as an alternate access to the Dix Range. Perfect weather, perfect day. Contrary to the description, there are good views from the summit. | ||

| I've been over this peak in the warm months several times. In the winter once, so far. We summited at sunset and bushwhacked down to the trail (west) in the dark. It was a great adventure. | ||
