Huayna Potosi - North ridge

Looking down the Huayna Potosi north ridge before descending. Actually I fell down the north ridge app. 7 to 8 meters shortly after taking this picture... (my eyes started to fill with tears due to the cold, strong wind and suddenly I did a wrong step, because I misjudged the distance for the next step). But my climbing fellows Bernardo and Uwe (plus a nice Penitentes) catched my fall using the rope. Dangerous Place

Dangerous place to fall. I summited yesterday and found the rigde a little scary. The rest of the mountain was a lot of fun. It took me a long time to summit (5 hours). Lovely picture
