| after the exciting scramble on Lindsey, this was a little bit underwhelming but it was nice to have the peak to myself (the rest of the people on Lindsey had no idea that Huerfano was even a peak). Barely beat a thunderstorm | |

| slogged through a marathon day with steve, dan and greg to snag huerfano on a nasty day. 10+ miles trenching through the sierra blancas was tiring enough, but the wind wall above treeline was what almost broke us. eventually we prevailed and are extremely pleased with our success over the trials we encountered. jamie | |

| Hiked up while my dad and his friend were resting after a Humboldt attempt. Got off route when I climbed to the east tpo early after crossing the creek. All the snow around Iron Nipple made for a more difficult day. Also lots of snow in the basin below. | |

| After Lindsey we climbed Iron Nipple and then Huerfano. The Iron Nipple has an interseting scramble near the top. We skirted the Nipple on the return. Nice side trip! | |
