Hug Point area

I parked my vehicle at Hug Point during my aborted attempt to do West Onion Peak. I had visited on a friday and the logging company was in full bore operations including some blasting so they made me turn back after I had hiked up about 2 miles. With extra time, I checked out the Hug Point beach area and found this special little waterfall as I walked north up the beach. Do plan to enjoy this unique section of Oregon coastline while you are there. There is no overnight parking in the Hug Point area. Oct 2005
