Hummingbird

Just took these photos of one of our local hummingbirds sitting on her/his nest. I had to chase a lizard off whom he/she was fighting with. Guess the lizard can smell the eggs and was climbing the tree. The hummingbird was quite aggressive, poking at it. I am pretty sure he/she would have chased the lizard off on his/her own. April, 2009
