| I know I hiked up there, just can't remember when - guess I'm getting old and senile. | ||

| With a friend in town, what better set of views on a lovely day than from the top of Hurricane Hill, and then a drive out to Obstruction Point. | ||

| CascadeCohen | Beautiful Hike! ![]() Date Climbed: Apr 22, 2012 | |
| Perfect NW day to go to the olympic mountains! What a scenic hike! Saw two deer on the road while driving to the trail head. And like Eastking said do it while there is snow on the ground with snowshoes in the winter and spring time when the mountain is not so crowded. It will busy in summer. | ||

| EastKing | A Classic Snowshoe! ![]() Date Climbed: Apr 22, 2012 | |
| I think the best way to do this mountain has to be with snow. Very scenic and worthwhile. Hope to bring BearQueen there in summer. | ||

| Beautiful winter day up there. Avalanche danger was pretty high, but not on this little peak. Plenty of cornices but easy to avoid. | ||

| Stu Brandel | Very Nice Early ![]() Date Climbed: Jul 19, 2011 | |
| Arrived about 6:45 Am and had hill to myself. Saw a black bear on way up and down. Too much snow to go beyond to Griff or Unicorn, as I had hoped. | ||

| Mountainjeff | Sketchy Avy Danger ![]() Date Climbed: Nov 26, 2010 | |
| Was rewarded for being the first out of the parking lot with three miles of knee deep trail breaking. Overall was a fun day and did not end up continuing to Unicorn and Griff due to massive amounts of windloading (~15 in. during the day). Experienced "whumping", shooting cracks and snow settlement. | ||

| Arkitekt | Grandparents Favorite Hike ![]() Date Climbed: Jul 18, 1998 | |
| This was my grandparents favorite hike. I was only 16 when I "climbed" this one and I recall them telling me to slow down and enjoy the scenery. I guess that I never did learn 'slowly' appreciate scenery. | ||

| TLP | good impression ![]() Date Climbed: Jun 12, 2010 | |
| After enduring some really crappy weather on a trip to the northwest, finally high pressure came in, and cleared the skies completely. I was glad I was in Olympic National Park. I really enjoyed the fantastic views. There was still some snow covering up the "trail", but that made it more enjoyable. A nice little spot, even if everyone goes there. | ||

| gimpilator | Hurrican Hill, Griff Peak, and Unicorn Peak ![]() Date Climbed: Apr 10, 2010 | |
| A long snowshoe with Robbin and Dave. Unicorn Peak was the most interesting but Hurricane Hill was the highest. I came upon a bear by surprise on the saddle between Giff Peak and Hurricane Hill. | ||
