Ibex

On the southern slopes of Montaž group such meetings with ibexes are very common. This one was observing us decending from Cima di Terrarossa / Špik Hude police and didn't mind also posing a bit. October, 2008.

Looks like an ibex to me but we don't have ibex in the Tatras, chamois only - it should be easier for you to tell

As you commented that picture - I'd agree that it is ibex as well, not a chamois.
