Iceberg Basin & beyond...

Upon reaching Mount Wilbur proper, this is the first view of the wonderful wall encircling Iceberg Lake. Iceberg Peak is hidden behind the dark rock filling the photo's far left. Mount Merritt dominates the distance, with Old Sun Glacier streaming from the summit, and Natoas Peak on the far right. The nice points between and behind Merritt and Natoas are not actually a mountain, but are part of a ridge. The dark and pointed "fangs" to the left of Merritt are known as the Lithoid Cusp, and to the best of anyone's knowledge, have never been climbed. Clouds are a Glacier Park special.
