A few years ago, I drove from Banff to Jasper and back. A portion of that highway is known as the Icefield Parkway. Almost the entire trip is within the boundaries of Banff and Jasper National Parks. The scenary is spectacular beyond belief. I had a cloudless day on the trip north. On the way back the peaks were emerging from the clouds for some very striking vistas. Here are some of the photos I took along the way including sidetrips to Banff, Lake Louise, the Columbia Icefield, Peyto Lake and Maligne Lake. I have been unable to identify several of the peaks. If you see something you recognize that I have failed to identify, please let me know. Thanks
