Mount Williamson from the top of Mount Tyndall. The "Black Stain" is clearly visible. Once at the top of the stain, the chute to the top if clear.

Mt. Williamson

My climbing buddies and I camped at the lake below Mt. Williamson in 1983. I remember looking up at that gnarly face, and thinking, "we're never going to do this." We climbed Trojan Peak the next day, and got a clearer look at the "Black Stain" and the chute to the top. We climbed Williamson the next day. One of the best days of my life. Thanks for the picture!
