Looking N From Volcano Peak

"Old Baldy Mountain" of the MacDougall Range is the focal point when looking N from Volcano Peak summit. Mount Lorette in the distant left. Volcano Peak, Elbow-Sheep Wildland Provincal Park 2007.

That's STEEP!

So the western ridge of MacDougall is the way up?

Mistake

I'll be changing this. MacDougall is not in this shot I found out. I am not sure what this mountain is now. It definetly is part of the MacDougall massive though. Volcano is on the southern ridge of MacDougall though and is the beginning of the accent route. See page 197 in "More Scrambles in the Canadaian Rockies" by Andrew Nugara for more info.

Re: Mistake

OK i think I got it. It is unoffically called "Old Baldy Mountain". It is the highest peak on the MacDougall massive. Let me know if I'm wrong.
