John, what time of year was this photo taken? Last time I was in the area it was early July a few years back and Blue Lake was still iced over. Yankee Boy Basin was still very full of snow. You have some tremendous photos in your portfolio -- nice job.

Thanks John - This was taken 9-8-07. It's a good time of year to avoid thunderstorms also (if planning on a long day).

Thanks Ryan. It is such a photogenic peak. This was on the way back down after finishing up the day, about halfway between the upper basin and Blue Lakes. It was a pleasing sight to behold after a fairly intense set of peaks ("T 0", "S 5", "S 6", and "S 4").
