late season route

We attempted the "late season route" yesterday (6/27/16) and failed to find a feasible non-technical route above large scree field below summit block seen in this photo. Skirting the cliffs to left led us to the notch in NW ridge below very steep cliffs.

Becky says "ascend N.E. up ridge and creek bed to col between Bryant and Hemlock Peaks south side of summit rocks). Here and easy ridge leads to summit (Class 3)." This photo seems to support that route as much more feasible.

I haven't tried Bryant before but I think you're right the right side in this photo looks a lot more pleasant than the left. Maybe their is a class 3 route up that. Best of luck on your next attempt.
