In Sobkovy Zlab

In Sobkovy Zlab

In Sobkovy Zlab, Ladovy Stit West face Memorable, adventurous and unsuccessful Ladovy winter attempt by the route of the first conquerors of the peak from 19th century. Well equipped(not mentioning the fact I forgot to take my ski poles that day...) we left skis below in that huge couloir and reached altitude of something over 2300 metres, quite close the point where we planned to traverse into the rocky ridge of Suchy Hreben leading to the summit dome, when sun began to shine strongly and everything started to fall on our heads from above... Forced to evacuate ourselves from these steep snows immediately, so carefully as quickly we were getting back down Javorova valley... 21st April 2006 High Tatras Welcome to Lodowy!

Re: ohhh

I am more than sure I heard voices heh.
Shit, it was real madness to get stuck up there in that steep snow getting softer and more and more risky within minutes... I was already almost dead after the valley, fighting these kilometers on skis with no ski poles, so what to say more then:)))

Everything on its right place as you noticed. I spent whole 8 zlotys for these perfect glasses and my legendary, lucky cap as I realised recently, is 14 years old now and still in use! ha! long live !!!
