Inside Palm Canyon

This photo was taken on January 24th, 2009 inside Palm Canyon, just south of Palm Springs, California. We took the main tourist trail, but then verged off trail over some boulders, and followed a creek for about 1/2 mile. That is where I took this photo. This creek is part of an oasis, where fresh water exists in the midst of a desert.
