Ipasha and Merritt
Seen from the goat trail near Ptarmigan Tunnel, these peaks dazzle here and just about everywhere along the long, exposed, and exciting route from the tunnel to Ahern Pass.

Ipasha Peak is on the left, and Mount Merritt, with Old Sun Glacier, is on the right. The peaks between them were still unclimbed as of 1990, according to climber and author J. Gordon Edwards. The highest of them is called the Lithoid Cusp.
