Iroquois Peak

The southwest face of Iroquois Peak in the IPW. The route runs right up the steep gully straight ahead. When I look at this photo, I get a feeling of complete isolation. Hiking up through this tall grass was a powerful experiance. Nobody all year had been up through here. Remote, remote, remote...I love it!!!! Indian Peaks Wilderness, Colorado.
