Is this Snowy Creek?

I'm not quite sure anymore which river this is. The three candidates are Dart River, Snowy Creek and possibly Whitbourn River. It wasn't all that far from Dart Hut, Mount Aspiring National Park, New Zealand. I think it's too small and gentle for Dart River itself, but it must have been very close to it, because of this other picture, taken one minute later, of Dart River itself: So, that leaves the Whitbourn River or Snowy Creek, both cases close to where it flows into the Dart River. The view is upstream, although that's a bit hard to see, so I must have been on the true right hand side of the river. That rather excludes the Whitbourn River, since the trail is on the other side. Ergo, this has to be Snowy Creek. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Oh, and if this is indeed Snowy Creek, what's that peak in the back?
