An unique photo of a horse used for logging trunks on the northern slope of Wysoki Kamień Mt. (1058 m a.s.l.). According to the information obtained from the horse owner, there are only a few people like him in the entire Izera Mountains and the Karkonosze Mountains. This means that the harvesting of wood from forests is done with the use of heavy equipment that erodes the trails. Such practice significantly reduces water retention in the mountains and accelerates water flow along skidding routes.
