A variant on the north face
Yes, we started the climb at Pasaia but I did not bag Mitxintxola on the way down, as I was with the small party that chose to explore the north face looking for the "route of the caserĂos". Never mind that, it was fun and the weather was stunningly good. If anything, I regret having missed the descent via the Talaia Ridge.

Nice day with clear views
This peak is really nice. The walk-up is easy, the landscape is nice with sea and green mountains. It's a mountain to all the people. We climbed from Pasajes de San Juan across west ridge. In the descent we climbed Mitxintxola using the route of nice ridge of Faro Talaia to return to the village. Perfect day!
