Does anyone know the origin of the name of this mountain ? I couldn't find it.
In the foothills of Baranec there is a village called Jakubovany. It is named after its protector - Saint Jacob (Jakub), so maybe the name of this peak means - Jacob´s Mountains - but this is only my opinion.
