SP member JDrake (Jim) atop a small peaklet on our way to Swasey Peak in western Utah. Interestingly enough, I met Jim when I went into a health food store to pick up some vitamins (need plenty at my age) and we got talking about mountains. It turned out he knew who I was from summitpost and we became friends from that first meeting on. He was able to join with me to tackle Swasey Peak and it was great fun on a freezing day in the desert. May 1st, 2008 Jim is now at Texas Tech, cheering for the Red Raiders and hitting the Buddy Holly museum.

Yes, he is a good sort. Hope you had a great Christmas
helping to shovel all the snow off the walks. Texas has an advantage at this time of year, no snow?
