| Easy to find. The short trail is very well marked by the high pointers club. They have done a really nice job on this high point. | |

| My third time here. The first time, in 1995, I was chased off by the maniac who used to live there. The second time, in 1998, we made a stealth raid on the "summit" which was obscured by piles of tree limbs and brush. This time, my whole familiy had a nice stroll to the open summit and were only harrassed by swarms of flies. | |

| My eighth state highpoint. Not much of a hike but one step closer. The sandy parking lot mentioned is lined by large boulders, hope this helps. | |

| Very easy, though I find it odd that the USGS made a mistake when placing that first marker midway down the trail. Highpoint #9! | |
