This is my favorite Glenwood Canyon canyon, if that makes sense.
Past the 3 mile bridge the trail goes up then peters out, but never dies. There are some down trees, a bunch of stinging nettles between ~miles 4-5, a colony of very fat marmots, and the bridge is out at mile 5.
I hope to do a trail run from here over to the Transfer Trail this fall when the creek drops enough to cross at the downed bridge.
