| The forecast was for a mostly sunny day, but the area around this mountain was foggy and cloudy all morning. The trail was in better condition than I expected, and some sections were steeper than I anticipated. In addition to reaching Joan Lake, I took the spur routes to the summits of Sunrise Mountain and Scorpion Mountain. | |
