During a very pleasing backcountry hike along the Bartram Trail, I came across the short spur to Jones Knob and took it. No views from the summit, but nice ones from just below it.

Part of a long day hike to Wolf Rock
Was my first mountain top of the day while hiking west on the Bartram trail from Jones Gap. Probably took less than half an hour from the trailhead to reach the summit. Very soggy cold overcast start to my day.

From Jones GapEasy hike from the Jones Gap trailhead. Continued on to Whiterock Mountain. Great views from just below the summit, on both of these peaks.
