Great View of Black Bear!Reminds me of when Jay and I decided to wander over to Telluride via the "short cut", Black Bear Pass. It started out nice enough, but by the time we decided it might not be such a good idea for the Blazer, it had turned into a one-way road STRAIGHT DOWN! All's well that ends well, as they say. We passed lots of oil pan rocks, but managed to land in Telluride unscathed. :-) Thanks for the memories!!

Re: Great View of Black Bear!I havne't done this pass yet, but I've read many reports on how intimidating and dangerous this road can be. I bet it took you just as much time to do this road than it would of taken to drive the long highway route to Telluride. Boy... it sure is beautiful there.
