Beautiful desert......eh? Spectacular shot! It really captures what a freaky place Death Valley is.

Re: Beautiful desert...Yeah. if it weren't so far away (over 700 miles round trip, including driving around in the valley), I'd be there every weekend. I love the desolation and the wild rock formations--the badlands near Zabriskie Point are really cool to hike around in.

The Great ExpanseYes, my favorite aspect of DV is its wild isolation. It is a place of extremes.
