The Savage Mountain

It was one of the worst year for climber on K2, The "Savage mountain" lived up to its name and proved its nature by killing 11 lives on 1 August, 2008. In 2008 74 climbers of 10 expeditions out of them 3 expeditions we were organizing tried to summit K2. 6 expeditions were successful by putting 17 of its members on top, including Meharban Karim who lost his life on the way down. While crossing the bottleneck 24 climbers were caught in an avalanche on August 1, 2008. More then half of them survive and make their way to base camp.

Gasherbrum

In 2008 11 expedition were successful out of 17 by putting 38 climbers on the top. Mr. Avtandil Tsintsadze and Mr. Tamaz Sharashenidze were the first Georgian to summit any 8000 m peak in Pakistan. Mr. Urth Jackob and Jacob Klaris Jensen two young Danish also summit GII.
