Looking up at the southwest slopes of "K9" in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. This is the location where a potential summiter leaves the Pacific Crest Trail and begins heading off-trail, northward, towards the boulder slope shown in this photo. Photo taken on September 12, 2013.
