Kanisfluh summit view with Alpine Chough

Kanisfluh (2044m) summit view looking south. The striking pyramid to right is the Damülser Mittagsspitze (2095m), the highest peak in the Damülser Mountains. Straight across is the Klippern (2066m). Far in the distance to the left are the Zitterklapfen (2403m) and the Hochkünzelspitze (2397m). The bird floating in from the left is an Alpine Chough. The sculpture directly in front of me is part of the Horizon Field installation by British sculptor Antony Gormley. I suppose it is no longer there, as the project was scheduled to end in 2012. Here is what the artist himself has to say about it, along with 20 photos. 05/04/2012 13:08:41
