On a section hike of the AT when my friends and I happened upon a group of VT and WVU students swilling screwdrivers and bag wine. After visiting and helping them lighten their load we headed off to War Spur shelter. As we descended 2 of the young'uns ran past, trying to make the liquor store in Blacksburg before it closed. I pictured blood and a medical helicopter in my head.
