A C.C.C. trail?Hard to imagine current budgets or policies approving of this very impressive project. Might be a Cilvilian Conservation Corps efforts of the post war '30s. Roosevelt was doing all kinds of these outrageous things all over the country.....Very neat trail--I too look forward to walking it someday, thanks for posting .

Re: A C.C.C. trail?I'm not sure, but I think that the Katwalk was blasted in the 1970's when the PCT was relocated from dropping into the Middle Fork Snoqualmie River valley. So it's not a CCC thing, but you're right, it's hard to imagine anything getting done these days of washed out roads and gridlock.
