Killer whale breaches in front of Mount Baker
A rare image of an endangered "southern resident" killer whale breaching with Mount Baker as a backdrop. Taken at 5pm on 8/28/07 by Val Veirs near Turn Point (Stuart Island, WA, USA) during bioacoustic studies of the orcas by students from Beam Reach Marine Science and Sustainability School.
