Goats are very active near Hidden Lake, and Bearhat is certainly no exception. While heading up the "notch" in the East face toward the summit, this scout came and found me quite silently, though I'd seen him from 100+ feet below and moved right as I moved up to try and avoid a goring with his horns. He sized me up and was a natural at posing for the camera. Reynolds Peak is in the background, Hidden Lake below. This is barely 1/2 way up the face to the summit, if you believe that. A great and varied climb with anything from Class 2 to 5 possible depending on what you desire.
