Introduction

On December 30, 2010, Dwayne's Photo Studio in Parsons, Kansas processed the last roll of Kodachrome film. I suppose there will remain some intrepid individuals who still have a few rolls and chemicals, and will process on their own for a little longer but, officially, the run is over. The purpose of this album is to showcase some of the best photos you've shot on Kodachrome. Please don't attach all of your images (and NO digital images!); we want to honor a great film that has rewarded us with many decades of memory by showcasing our favorite work. By the way, what was on that last roll of Kodachrome ever produced? You can view the images in this gallery right here:

End of Kodachrome

This mini documentary on Kodachrome should be interesting. Found it at

http://www.petapixel.com/2012/01/13/mini-documentary-about-kodachrome-and-the-last-lab-that-processed-it/

It is also at http://vimeo.com/22543258

It really reflects on the very complicated process that really ended its use.
