Nice shot!I see you enjoyed the beautiful day, too. I wasn't too far away since I enjoyed a nice sun-bath on the Hörnle, thinking about the conditions on the higher mountains... Hörnle has snow but not very much ~10cm or so :(

Unfortunately that was the highest point for that day; after a rather exhausting ski ascent (as usual on Kreuzspitze the ski track was ways too steep to really enjoy it and it was the first ski ascent for me that winter) we had to learn that there was no foot track to the summit and it was too late trying it; all the chutes were packed with drift snow and - as you can see - the rocks were packed with rime, so we abandonned the idea of summiting that day. But the descent was great powder snow fun and there was the sun and fresh air above the depressing low clouds. That was worth the effort.
Snow condition: 20 cm of powder on 10 - 40 cm of solid snow crust. Not too much!
