| The day started with beautiful weather, but gradually the clouds moved in. The route (from the Krnica valley) was well marked, but at one point I still got off route during the steep scramble. After searching for the next route marker in vain for a while, I did the proper thing and descended a bit until the last marker that I had passed, and, sure enough, the route went the other way than the easy trail that I had followed. | |

| I climbed Križ in 2008, we started from Vrata valley, up to bivouac no.4.It was high summer, but there were icy pellets everywhere, it kind of rained - snowed the day before. We climbed Križ on our roundabout way to Kriški podi,met very few people. | |

| It was fantastic trip to Kriz and Kriski podi. Ales and I stayed over night in Pogacnikov dom, next morning we went to the summit of Kriz. Flora and fauna are just great there, you can see a lot of ibex really close... | |

| We started our Kriške Podi weekend on day before around 09.30 hrs from Zadnjica Valley, where we parked our cars. After short break at Pogacnik hut we made the Razor summit. We descended back to the mountain refuge, where we spent the night in order to recover needed energy for next day Križ summit and afternoon return to the Trenta valley. | |
