"la puerta" / "the gate"

The very little gully considered to be the only passage to continue further up on the summital crown is located just on the left of the tiny pile of snow on this picture. This pass is called "la puerta" or "the gate" and you will not see it until the last steps before it. In addition to GPS waypoints (6626m, S 27°05.824' W 068°46.871) you will locate it thanks to the big rock tower (on the right on this photo), which is the highest one that can be spoted from further down.
