Wonderful picture of the Pelmo. Very nice light conditions and frame over the mountain.

I wait for this summer in my 2nd. time in Dolomites and I'll have such beautiful conditions as you had on this spot. Very nice sunset. Any little clouds (to crack the picture)?

Re: Bellissimo il PelmoThat evening the wheather was really nice until just some minutes before sunset, but then far haze and cloud at the west, have piecewise masked the sun and then altered the clarity of the air.
The "golden time" of the sunset was not so bright and colorful as seemed to promise just some minutes before.
This can be understood also from this image, is good, but not great and if there were been some decorative clouds, not too large or intrusive, all around, probably would have been much better.
Good luck for the second time-trip.
