Lake Peak
My friend Ken O. and I simply walked up the Santa Fe Ski area to the top of the ski lift just below the summit. From there it was a 15 minute walk to the top. We could see the route to Penitente Peak, but the clouds were blowing in and by the time we got back down to tree-line we could hear the thunder on the peaks behind us.
This route is much shorter, but of course misses out on the potential to hike the Windsor Trail Loop
